GPI also provides the industries
only free limited mold
investigation with each home inspection. A limited mold investigation is a non-intrusive
examination, designed to identify conditions in a home that suggest
environments conducive to potential mold growth. Samples and laboratory
tests are not performed as part of this free mold investigation; if
recommendations for sampling and laboratory testing are made, the client
can choose to have these services on a fee for service basis.

OUR PRICES
- Our prices start at $295 and are relative to the
property size, features, age and condition.
- We strive to inspect every home, as if we
were moving our own family into the property.
We take whatever time is necessary to complete your inspection. A
comprehensive quality inspection of your new home is our sole concern.
- You will find that prices will vary
slightly between home inspection companies.
This price difference is typically influenced by inspector
certifications, experience, services, insurance coverage and
qualifications.
- Always confirm that your inspector is
qualified (a certified CREIA* inspector), and insured. Don't be
fooled, ask to see their CREIA inspector badge with a current date.
Unfortunately, some inspectors will say they are certified to get your
business, but they are not. GPI estimates that less than half the
home inspectors in the area are certified CREIA inspectors.
- The California Real Estate Inspection
Association (CREIA) is the industry recognized nonprofit public-benefit
organization of real estate inspectors. Founded in 1976, CREIA
provides education, training & support services to its members and the
community.
CREIA's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice are recognized by the
California Business & Professions Codes and are considered the standard
of care by the real estate industry and legal profession.
As a Certified CREIA Inspector (CCI) I have successfully passed a
comprehensive written examination on the myriad of systems and
components in the construction and maintenance of residential
dwellings.
CREIA members must also complete a minimum 30 hours of continuing
education annually.
